Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all travel packages offered by HLMundo and is governed by Brazilian law, in particular the Consumer Protection Code and other applicable regulations.
By making a reservation, the client declares that they are aware of and agree to the terms below.
1. Booking Confirmation
The booking shall be considered confirmed upon payment of the full amount or the agreed deposit. From this moment, HLMundo will begin contracting services with third parties, including hotels, transport providers, tickets and other activities included in the package.
2. Right of Withdrawal
The client may withdraw from the contract within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of booking, with a full refund of the amounts paid, provided that the trip does not commence within this period.
3. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Refunds will follow the conditions below:
- More than 60 days before departure: refund of amounts paid, minus administrative fees and non-refundable supplier costs.
- Less than 60 days before departure: no refund will be issued.
Failure to attend (no-show), withdrawal during the trip or abandonment of the itinerary will not entitle the client to any refund.
Specific services such as event tickets, samba school parade participation, costume production and special reservations are non-refundable once confirmed.
4. Changes or Cancellations by HLMundo
HLMundo may modify or cancel parts of the programme due to operational, safety or external circumstances beyond its control.
In such cases, equivalent alternatives will be offered whenever possible. HLMundo is not responsible for additional costs such as flights or personal expenses.
5. Force Majeure
HLMundo is not responsible for disruptions caused by force majeure, including weather conditions, government actions, strikes or closure of attractions.
No refunds will be issued in such cases. Alternative experiences will be offered whenever possible.
6. Third-Party Services
HLMundo acts as an intermediary. Supplier policies may apply, including non-refundable conditions.
7. Refunds
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed via the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
9. Final Provisions
This policy forms part of the service agreement. Any disputes shall be governed by Brazilian law.
